DUPRIME is tested as per the requirements of ASTM D-41, and other relevant International Standards.
QUALITY ASSURANCE AND WARRANTY
Duproof is ISO 9001 Quality Assured Company, and DUPRIME carries a material warranty against any manufacturing defects.
USES
- Universal primer on roofs and walls made from reinforced concrete, asphalt, bricks, metal and porous substrates before applying any of Duproof waterproofing sheet membranes and protective coatings.
- Single coat protective coating on various construction structures and on metal structures. It can be applied on vertical and horizontal structures.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
- DUPRIME should be thoroughly stirred before use. The surface should be dry, clean and free of loose materials, dirt, soil, grease, oil or other impurities.
- Apply DUPRIME by means of a brush, roller or spray gun @ of 5–6 m2/lit into the entire coverage area of the substrate and allow to dry. The drying time and coverage depends on the porosity of the substrate and the environmental conditions.
DUPRIME is recommended to apply at temperatures above 5°C.
PACKING AND STORAGE
DUPRIME is available in 20–liter pails and 200–liter drums, palletized and strapped. DUPRIME should be store at temperature between 5oC and 40oC and away from the source of ignition. Adequate ventilation has to be ensured when applying solvent–based products in an enclosed area. Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment. Open solvent based product drums or containers should be kept tightly closed, away from fire or open flame. Partly used material should be placed in a sealed container and stored in a wellventilated area.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
There are no direct health hazards associated with DUPRIME. Normal precautions for volatile material should be observed. Refer to our MSDS sheets for advice.
